Veteran's Day is a day to honor people who served or are serving in our military. Veteran's Day is celebrated on November 11 in the United States to commemorate the end of World War I. My friend Bryce Seymour's dad is serving in Qatar. Lt. Colonel Seymour is helping plan and execute Air Force operations over Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. He will be in Qatar for a year. This is his third deployment. I asked Lt. Col Seymour what Veteran's Day means to him. He said, "Veteran's Day is about remembering those that have sacrificed for our country. It can be a difficult life, and it’s nice to know that people appreciate what we do." Next Veteran's Day, I hope you will remember the sacrifices that our military makes for our country. We should celebrate our military every day!
